WHAT ABOUT OUR FOOD?
Yes, since we’ll be traveling to Mexico you’ll need a passport to book your flight. You’ll also need to bring it with you to enter back into the US. We will provide you with a TON of detail about traveling and make sure you feel comfortable, safe and fully taken care of.
We have both private and shared room options available. If you opt to share a room by booking with a friend, business partner, or spouse you can save big! There are only 6 rooms at this luxury boutique hotel and we’ve rented out the entire villa.
Zihuatanejo/Ixtapa International Airport is the nearest airport, about a 20 minute drive from Casa Angelina. We will have private transfers prepared for you and our Embark travel agent will guide you through all of your travel needs and questions! We’ve got you taken care of!
After booking, our travel agent will be in touch with you to arrange transportation from the airport to our private villa. All of your transportation is covered and will be arranged. Casa Angelina is a short private car ride from the Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo International airport (ZIH). Most flights will come in from Mexico City with options possible for direct flights to Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo International Airport (ZIH) available from Los Angeles, Houston, Dallas, Mexico City, Chicago, Vancouver, Toronto, and Montreal.
Included in your registration is breakfast; lunch and dinner. Daily caught seafood from Zihua fisherman and tropical fruits from nearby gardens round-out Cocina Angelina’s organic, locally sourced prix-fixe dinner menu by Executive Chef Daniel Hernandez. Inspired by Mexico’s cultural heritage and the Pacific coast’s vibrant waters, Chef Hernandez offers a modern take on internationally inspired Mexican cuisine served cliffside on the Sky Deck, or palm-side in The Living Room. A daytime Snack Menu is also offered at the Palapa Bar.

SHOULD I BE NERVOUS TRAVELING TO MEXICO RIGHT NOW?
I know things are uncertain right now with Covid-19 and we're optimistic that with current travel to Mexico being allowed (in August 2020) that we will be good to go for October 2020. We are staying in a private villa with limited exposure to others beyond our private van from the airport. The luxury hotel is taking all necessary cleaning procedures and precautions. Our main goal is your safety and we’ve taken all precautions to make sure you are taken care of during every aspect of our Embark Retreat. You’ll be well educated on what to expect, who to expect, how we are getting to and from the resort. Our personal travel agent will be with us on this retreat and will make sure you have everything you need! We’ll send packing lists, itineraries (we’ll mostly be at our resort the entire trip) and get to know each other in our private Facebook group before we even meet.
CASA ANGELINA COVID-19 HEALTH PROTOCOLS:
Our team takes extra care during the COVID-19 pandemic to ensure the health and safety of our guests. This includes immediately barring the general public from entering Casa Angelina outside of full private villa rentals, guaranteeing minimum time between villa reservations, using extra cleaning disinfectants on all surfaces and linens, using face masks and gloves for our staff, adding anti-bacterial hand sanitizer throughout the property, requiring frequent hand-washing of our staff, and ensuring our staff does not take public transportation.
